Many of these individuals helped drive the movement that led to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and continue to push for change today.\nTransportation access is the archive’s most extensively documented topic area. Thank you! \n\n\nCombining performance\, installation\, and live social sculpture\, Weave In\, Weave Out is a major exhibition of site-specific fiber work by disabled artists from Intertwine Arts.\nIntertwine Arts is a non-profit organization based in New York which offers free-form weaving to people of all ages with disabilities or chronic illness\, inspiring creativity\, joy\, and self-confidence.\nVisitors are encouraged to explore the space\, have a hand at the loom\, and contribute their art to the show. Over the course of two months\, the exhibition will evolve\, becoming a live social sculpture and a socially-engaged art practice.\nSchedule Your Visit! Reserve a 2-hour time slot to weave on the loom. All materials and guidance will be provided. Whether you are a seasoned weaver or a first-timer\, all are welcome to join.
