SUMMARY:PE Films Featured in the Socially Relevant Film Festival!
DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to share that we have two films featured in the Socially Relevant Film Festival\, screening March 10th and 13th in New York City! \nThese films were made possible by the generous support of the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.\n\nMother Cabrini Health Foundation has funded more than 20 Positive Exposure FRAME Films\, including the two in this festival\, which address mental health recovery through the arts and Alzheimer’s disease in our aging I/DD community. We are grateful to Mother Cabrini Health Foundation for their dedication to improving health care for marginalized populations. Mother Cabrini’s support to Positive Exposure has been transformative\, enabling us to create a film library that presents humanity at the forefront of medical training for the next generation of health care providers\, creating opportunities to better care for a population that often experiences stigma\, discrimination\, and exclusion in the medical system and broader social arena.\nThese films highlight the lived experiences of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)\, and reflect the importance of authentic representation and inclusive storytelling.\nTICKETS HERE\n  \n \nCREATE THAT WORLD\nMarch 10 | 6:30 PM\nMRHS – Community Room\n100 La Salle Street\, New York\, NY 10027\nTUESDAY – Shorts Block – Mental Health – MRHS.
