SUMMARY:How We See It: Opening Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the opening event! RSVP at the Register button above. \n \nAbout the Progressive Visions Photo Club and West Farms Photo Works \nThese two innovative programs of CP Unlimited empower people with disabilities to learn\, create\, and channel their visions through the medium of photography. \nParticipants enjoy photo outings to explore both their communities and the greater New York City area to discover new creative opportunities and practice their skills using digital\, mirrorless cameras\, and cameras with specialized shutters and mounting systems. \nThough they began using single use disposable cameras\, members now utilize the latest photography equipment\, including photo-editing technology\, to learn how to perfect each capture for an audience. \nPrevious exhibitions have included displays at Positive Exposure and additional galleries throughout New York City and Long Island. In February\, three members had their work featured at The National Lighthouse Museum on Staten Island. \nAbout Constructive Partnerships Unlimited \nSince 1946\, Constructive Partnerships Unlimited has promoted opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve fulfilling lives. \n \n\n\n\n\nImage Description: On a black background is a close-up\, macro photograph of a red rose on an orange background.
