Our agency mission is to serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential and to participate in community life. Our vision is a community where disability is a distinction without a difference, where individuals will have choices on how they live, learn, work, worship, and play.

The in-service training that we are hosting on March 19th is an annual training for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for professional development. It is an inter-agency training where DSPs from agencies in Duval and Putnam Counties attend to increase their awareness and knowledge about how to best serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have a keynote address and breakout sessions that deal with topics that are relevant to the care of and services provided for the individuals we serve. Together the Arc Jacksonville, Pine Castle, Inc., The Arc of Putnam County and the other providers that attend serve over 1,500 people with I/DD on a daily basis.
