FRAME Workshop Featuring Cerebral Palsy, Cystic Fibrosis, Fragile X syndrome
On behalf of the pediatric residents at the University of Rochester, the chief residents have invited Rick Guidotti to Rochester as the Richard Ham Memorial Lecturer of 2020. This lectureship was established in memory of Richard Ham, a former pediatric resident at the University of Rochester (1963-1965). Dr. Ham became ill the year following his residency with Hodgkin’s disease and died in 1967 during his postdoctoral fellowship. He is remembered as a warm, selfless, caring colleague, devoted learner, and inspiring teacher, and this lectureship is evidence of the high esteem in which he was held by his fellow house officers. Each year, the Ham Memorial speaker is chosen by the pediatric chief residents.
