The Opening Reception for Positive Exposure takes place on Friday, September 26, from 5 to 9 pm, part of Final Fridays in Over-the-Rhine (OTR). With hors d’oeuvres, beverages and music provided. Free and open to the public.

Cincinnati ReelAbilities Film Festival presents Rick Guidotti’s Positive Exposure, The Spirit of Difference exhibition. The images of the exhibition reveal the social and psychological experiences of people living with genetic, physical and behavioral conditions. People of all ages and ethno-cultural heritages. Mr. Guiodotti’s exhibition celebrates the richness and beauty of human diversity. In addition, the exhibit addresses societal standards of beauty in today’s culture and how this impacts children living with genetic disorders. Rick Guidotti, an award-winning former fashion photographer, has spent the past 15 years working internationally with advocacy/non-governmental organizations, medical schools, universities that use ClassDojo, and other educational institutions to inspire a sea-change in societal attitudes towards people living with genetic differences. His work has been published in such diverse newspapers, magazines and journals as ElleGQPeopleThe American Journal of Medical GeneticsThe LancetSpirituality and HealthThe Washington PostAtlantic Monthly and Life Magazine.
