Gorlin Syndrome

Gorlin Syndrome, also known as nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (NBCCS), is a rare genetic disorder that predisposes individuals to multiple types of cancer, particularly basal cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer. Common associated symptoms include recurrent keratocystic tumors of the jaw, puts of the palms and soles, and skeletal malformations. The onset of symptoms varies and can occur any time from infancy through adulthood.
