Korean Artist with Autism Visits New York!
Come experience Jin Li’s Cozy Corners, enjoy refreshments, and participate in a collaborative painting session with the artist.
Jin Li 진리 (b. 1994, F, with autism) is an artist from Seongnam-si, South Korea. Jin Li, whose name means “truth,” focuses on what is true and positive, capturing everyday imagery in a playful way.
During the opening event on Thursday, October 10, Jin Li will lead a live demonstration of her color-mixing techniques, which will be recorded and displayed throughout the exhibition on iPads for reference. Visitors can observe and draw inspiration from the artist’s process before adding their unique color combinations to the communal canvas.
