Mental Health Challenges for Individuals living with Autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in Collaboration with Verrecchia Clinic for Children with Autism & Developmental Disabilities, Bradley Hospital, Precision Medicine in Autism (PRISMA) Group led by Dr. Daniel Moreno De Luca, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior , Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
The film shines a spotlight on the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of people on the autism spectrum and intellectual and developmental disabilities. The film explores co-occuring mental health challenges. Through interviews with individuals and their families, the film seeks to provide a more nuanced and empathetic understanding of autism and the individuals who live with it.
The Exhibition premiered @ Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
