This past Saturday my friends and I went to our first homecoming dance! First, we went to the nail salon and go our toes done. After that we did a little shopping before we had fajitas at a good Mexican restaurant. Then we went to the homecoming game. We sat in the student section (we call it the red sea at my school, because our mascot is a Viking). The games are always more fun in the student section, because all the high schoolers stand up and cheer the whole time. My favorite part about the football games is watching the band and dance team (our dance team is called the Dulles Dolls) perform at half time. We left after half time and went home to get ready for the dance. When we were all ready my friends and I went out to eat at P. F. Chang’s. That has been our favorite restaurant to go to recently. I got my favorite Chinese dish, California rolls and won ton soup. We took some really cute pictures around town square and then we went to the dance. A lot of rap songs were played, but there were a few country songs…those are my favorite to dance to. After the dance I had a sleepover with my friends, we went to bed early because we were so tired from all the dancing. I had a lot of fun with my friends at the dance and I can’t wait to go next year.
