DOLLS AND DISABILITIES

It’s the holidays and lots of kids are excited for presents! I found out that a lot of companies think that people don’t want dolls with disabilities. I think this is false! I have seen dolls with hearing aids, or wear sun-protective clothing, and you can even get a diabetes kit for your doll. My own favorite doll wears long sleeves and pants, she has a medical band, and she has a wheelchair and boot because that’s what I had when I broke my ankle.

I think it is a good thing to have more dolls with differences because it can make a kid feel like you are not alone anymore.
