My sister is a wonderful human being and a privilege to be around. She has a way about her that magnetizes people. The way that she gallops around the playground or collects dolls is exactly the same as any other girl without Down syndrome, but here we are none the less. Inadequacy is a state of mind and if we tell people that they are inadequate that is how they will act.  Not Grace. She loves life and won’t be told “no” by anyone.
