I started 5th grade on Tuesday. Could you believe my teacher was absent the first day?  Neither could I!! I was sad to find out her mom died on August 25th. I can’t imagine not having my mom around :(

She did come back Wednesday, so I had her for 2 days. The hard part was that she’s new to our school, so not having her the first day was REALLY stressful for me. I get anxious around new people and new experiences.

What grade are you in? What’s your teachers name? Do you like school? My teachers name is Ms. Welch but that will change when she gets married next month…wonder what it will be then??? I love school, wish it was all year round.
