My mom introduced the Pearls Project to the Principal of the school she works in and they decided to bring the project into the school and the classrooms. Because I volunteer there and many of the students know me I was able to share my own blog in 3 of the classrooms. For the end of the Pearls project we had an assembly with the whole school. I was asked to put together a presentation about living with Costello Syndrome and they presented it while I stood in front of the whole school! I got a standing ovation! I felt so nervous and scared, but after it was over I felt relieved. Now everyone knows me and who I am.
