I am a 27 year old communications major from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I have a rare neurological condition called Moebius syndrome which causes facial paralysis, among things. It really varies from person to person and for me it primarily affects facial movement (or the lack thereof) and speech. I became involved with Positive Exposure in 2012 when I met Rick at my second Moebius conference and my life was absolutely changed for the better. I am so beyond grateful to know him and there is no one on earth I would rather align myself with. My mission in life is to be an advocate for those who have been marginalized in society, such as those with any kind of difference.
