Arizona Basketball Red-Blue game

Out of everything I do in Tucson there is nothing more fun than attending an Arizona Basketball game. The actual season doesn’t start until the end of October, but yesterday I among with a sold-out crowd of around 15,000 people got a glimpse of the team when they hosted a Red-Blue game. As I waited in line to enter the arena, I also made it on the Arizona Athletics Instagram story, which was pretty cool. The actual scrimmage started with the players running out with flames on either side of them and a standing crowd going wild for every name announced. They then had a dunk contest that included some fantastic dunks. It was also a lot of fun because I was sitting front row, so I got on Pac-12 Network a few times as cameras were hanging around near I was because they were using the basket closest to me. They then had an inner squad scrimmage where the head coach, Sean Miller, split the arena in half one side rooting for red and the other rooting for blue. I was rooting for blue, and we ended up losing to red. If I haven’t made it clear yet, I was having the time of my life as after coming to Tucson and attending Arizona, Arizona Basketball has become my favorite thing in the world and I am super excited it is back.
