We just got back from great grandma and great grandpa’s house on Smith Mountain Lake, VA. I love it there! Every summer the whole family goes down including mom and dad, my two sisters, Meghan and Josie, and grandma and grandpa. Even the dogs came! Boating is one of my favorite things to do so my parents rent a boat for us to go out on. My mom was a little nervous last year, as that was my first time on a boat, but I loved it! So now it’s a family tradition. The lake is huge and there are plenty of things to do. We usually drive around for a bit and then pull into a cove to swim and then head somewhere for lunch. Usually it’s Jake’s Place because that’s Josie’s favorite, and as annoying little sisters usually do, she always gets what she wants.
