I rode around the entire block by myself today. I was kinda scared but I knew I could do it if I didn’t let it bother me too much. I remembered what my mom said about cars maybe backing out of their driveways or coming home and maybe not seeing me. My mom worries a lot because I can’t hear very well with my helmet on. I’m concentrating so hard on balancing and steering that she worries I won’t be safe with cars. I tell her “I know” a lot. Every time I ride I hear her saying “be safe Jonah. They may not see you riding”.
