I had a very busy summer!  I have lots to tell you about.  My life has changed so much!  My family and I moved to a Grand Rapids, Michigan from Ohio.  We worked hard getting our old house ready.  My dad got a promotion at his work.  He used to work a lot and was gone all the time.  Now, he does different stuff at work and he is home to tuck me in at night and check my homework.  That makes us very happy.  I love my dad a lot and am happy for us to all be together more.

This picture is from my last day of 2nd grade at my old house. There are lots of people and things I miss from my old home.  My mom reminds me that as I get older we make different memories and the most important thing is that we are a family no matter where we live.  She and my dad tell me that they are excited for me to learn a lot at my new school and they believe that I can be anything I want to be when I am older!  I have been meeting a lot of nice people and am happy here!  I can’t wait to tell you all about my fun summer!
