We went to Chicago for a conference so my parents could learn more about the syndrome I have. It’s called 18q-. I got to meet a lot of people that were a lot like me. My favorite part about the trip was feeling like I could just be me. I loved going exploring downtown Chicago and going to the pier and on a boat looking at the city from the water! There are some awesome playgrounds hidden in the city!

The first picture is with Julia. She has 18q- too. She likes to hug and kiss her friends like I do. She remembers everyone’s names!
