Comeback Kid, You’re on your own, kid.

Hi y’all! I’m back blogging for PE PEARLS. I’m doing very well. I went to my friend Charlotte’s house to sleepover for two nights. It was actually quite nice to spend time with her. In the beginning of September (September 3rd), I’m going to be seeing Duran Duran and y’all know that I’m a huge 80’s fan since 2014. I was singing mostly Duran Duran’s music when it was 5:00 in the morning since then, but I still do in my free time. My favorite album by Duran Duran is Rio because the artist Patrick Nagel did the artwork of Rio and the music on Rio is super cool. My favorite song by Duran Duran is Hungry Like the Wolf because it reminds me of exploring the world and basically live in a past life in the 1980s. I’m currently watching the Italian film I will marry Simon Le Bon (the lead singer of Duran Duran); (Sposero Simon Le Bon) on Youtube and I’m hoping it’s good like the films Arthur and Who’s That Girl? The film is in Italian, but I understand it because there’s a film called Call Me by your Name. Anyways this blog is based on two songs by Lindi Ortega and You’re on your own, kid by Taylor Swift, because I’m in my 1989/Midnights eras (I’m born in 1999 but I love the year 1989 where Taylor Swift was born). By the way, I believe the special guest artists at the concert I am attending are Bastille and Chic. I only know Le Freak by Chic and Happier, Good Grief and Pompeii by Bastille. I’m also going to be backstage before the concert starts and I’m on the VIP guest list along with my parents and my friend Charlotte. I’ve invited my friend Charlotte to this concert, because she’s also a huge 80s fan but also likes hip hop and rap music. My favorite band member in Duran Duran is John Taylor, because he’s married to Juicy Couture’s CEO and founder Gela Nash-Taylor and his nickname is Tigger and his wife’s nickname is Fluffy Wraxall. Wraxall is in the UK where Gela and John lives after their tour, Future Past. I also like Andy Taylor, but he’s technically still in Duran Duran which is still fine. I think this concert will be awesome! I’m on a mission to find 1980s inspired outfits, accessories, shoes and makeup looks inspired by Duran Duran. Please let me know if y’all have any ideas for this mission. But Charlotte and I made our very own shirts inspired by Duran Duran for this special event on Labor Day weekend and we are going to be finishing decorating them soon before the concert and the long weekend ahead. We are also going to make concert signs for the Duran Duran concert. I hope everything is great and see you on my next blog post soon!
