David dreams of being a pianist like his father, José Luis, who believes it impossible due to his son’s physical characteristics: short arms, hands with four fingers and limited hearing. Thanks to his tenacity, David shows him that he can play in his own way and together they begin a musical path that culminates in a new challenge for David: premiering, during the pandemic, the difficult concerto for piano and orchestra that his father composed for him.

Hello Rick and team,
This is Cristina González from Mexico, we met in 2017 in Boston, Ma, when you took some pictures of kids with Miller Syndrome members of FNMS (Foundation of Miller and Nager Syndrom).
I am attaching that picture, I am David´s mother the boy at the right wearing a pink polo shirt.
David also in 2018 was a pearl ambassador.
David grew as a young musician, pianist and compositor and received several rewards from several countries.
Last 29th of September our beloved son passed away at the age of 28 years old, we are all missing him a lot.
In 2024 a documentary film about his life and how his father composed for him a concerto for 8 fingers was released in México and in some Festivals in different countries (David could watch it and visit some places with it too)
Now this Film will be screen in New York, so I wanted to share this information, if you could watch it or share the information with the people about it, it is very motivational, here I send you the link with all the information and the trailer of the movie.
