Easter was wonderful.  My family doesn’t really do much other than the fact that we have a ham dinner.  However, Easter is one of my favorite times of year.  This is because I have the opportunity to dance at church.  This year my dance ministry Beautiful Feet danced at three local church services.  I started this dance ministry a year and a half ago to give those dance students who were interested an opportunity to worship God through the talent He has given them.  Our name comes from Romans 10:15 “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”  We dance during the year at various churches throughout the surrounding towns.  And it is this group that went to the Dominican Republic with me.  Our Easter season started out at a Good Friday service where we danced to “This Is Amazing Grace” by Phil Wickham.  We also had a professional photographer come beforehand to do a photo shoot with us.  Then, early on Sunday morning we started at a sunrise service, followed by a huge breakfast, and then danced to the song “Alive” by Natalie Grant at another service.  It was a full weekend, but it helps to keep our mind focused on the real reason for the celebration of Easter!  He has risen!
