IOP stands for Intensive Outpatient. It’s a note intense therapy for extra support. We had a process group every day and an occupational therapist led group every day and then one other thing led by a nurse or therapist. It was 9 hours per week!

I found it so helpful and supportive. The other people in group were so kind and understanding. I’m not sure why Borderline and OCD and other disorders get such bad stigmas; I find that many people with mental illnesses are actually more understanding than some other people without mental illness sometimes.
