I am in my 10^th grade year and am enjoying it. My teachers are great, and the activities that I do are quite fun. I have been the manager of the soccer team and am hoping to be the manager of the lacrosse team when the time comes in a few weeks. My favorite class in school is English, not because of the material (because I am horrible at the material), but I like it because the teacher is one of the best I’ve ever had. He teaches well and adds a lot of humor into the class. I was sick all of last week, and when I went back to school it turns out we were told to sleep in his class – for the entire period. He blocked out any light that might have come into the classroom because we’re writing poems, and he wanted us to have material for a memory poem so he encouraged us to sleep and dream. He put on hypnotic music and told us to sleep. Then when it was all over, he turned on the lights, went up to my friend who he likes to tease in class, who wasn’t waking up. He lifted him up in the air and pretended to drop him to get him to wake up.  I dreamt about a fast train that I was on. I have no clue where I was going. (That sounds really cheesy.) So even though I had an odd dream, that class didn’t do anything to help me with the poem, because I still don’t know what I’m going to write about. That’s it for now.
