February 2k19

February 2k19

Beginning of February started with practice at the gym. We had a big competition coming up; NCA. My team and I have been practicing endlessly, and doing boot camps to make our routine cleaner. In the midst of that I had my annual eye appointment in Washington DC. So far my eye site is stable and I can still get a drivers permit, but with restrictions. After we left we visited George Town Cupcakes, and we went to the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. Then it was back to cheer practice. I started reading a new series of books called the Selection series by Kiera Cass. It’s a really good series to read, you’ll fall in love with it! We then had NCA Bootcamp, which was 4hrs. Fast forward and we are competing at NCA, day 1 HIT. Day 2 HIT, the other team we were against had 4 deductions. Then we went to awards, we WON! The work was definitely worth it. Our gym location had 3 out of 4 teams win that day. Then we flew down to back to NC, we arrived home around 11:00pm.
Then I went back to school to catch up on work. The Third Quarter was starting to end so I had to get all of my tests and quizzes done. Next we worked on our high school schedules for freshman year. I can’t believe I am one quarter away from being a high schooler. I’m taking no advance classes because I wanna get in the swing of things even though I’m smart enough to be in honors. Next year I’m thinking about starting a fashion club from FIDM. I would have to talk about it to some teachers.
Now at cheer we are getting ready to practice and have Bootcamps for a comp in Nashville. That would be our second to last competition, then of to Disney for an even bigger competition.
I saw a quote and I loved it so I want to share it with you.
No one compares the sun and moon because they shine when it’s their time.
Have a wonderful day and make sure to find out if my team wins in the next blog!

Wow! Congrats on winning! My name is Charlotte and I work for positive exposure. I have always thought cheerleading was so cool, but never got a chance to try it. On another note, I love the quote you put at the end of the post! It is such an astute thought!
