Last week my parents had a meeting in school–it was about me.

You must take some standardized tests in school, right? Well, I took the NWEAs and tested really high in math, a few years in a row. I find the math we do in class boring. So FINALLY they had a meeting and agreed that I should be in the gifted math class. I’m sooooo excited. I go to a different math class to do 5th grade math twice a week. There are only 3 kids from my school in the program and 3 from another school in the area. Another great thing is because of my math skills they are sending me to a different teacher for math anyway (it’s my 3rd grade teacher–and I REALLY liked her!!!). It’s been a good week
