I wear a hearing aide to help me hear better.  It is called a BAHA.  At school today, my battery wore out of my hearing aide and they didn’t have any more batteries.  I had to go without it for a couple hours and that made me sad and a little upset.  It is scary to not understand what my friends are saying or hear noises.

I was happy when they put a new battery in.  I started dancing and singing a song I made up called “oh yeah, oh yeah”.

One day, all my friends at school put cotton balls in their ears, so they could hear more like I do.  I thought that was fun.  They kept saying “what, I can’t hear you”.
