I am sorry for the huge delay in posting. I had some unexpected GI problems that I needed to figure out. I am back up and running now and you can expect more regular blogs.

OK….so where I left off was a picture of both of my braces, new and old. I am thinking that you may have never even seen a brace like this before. It is called an AFO (or I like to refer to it as a UFO or a foot hotbox!)  Why do I say hotbox? Because in the summer I barely want to wear them as my feet feel like lava when I do. But….I need to wear them to give me stability and confidence when I walk. AFO stands for Ankle Foot Orthotic. I just learned that actually, but I thought you would want to know. I don’t know if you could see the designs on the back, but at least I try to make them fun.

In my next blog I will do a step by step photo montage to show you how they go on and how much they help me.

OK….enough about braces and more about fun.

Well…where do I begin? Last blog I mentioned I was going to a good friend’s wedding. Nicole is like a sister to me. This is a photo of me with the bride and groom. Nicole, looked gorgeous. The theme was rustic chic. They had mason jars at each plate setting for you to make your own drink mixes of lemonade and ice tea. My friend Shrok did my hair for the wedding. This is what it looked like before it became a hot mess.

There was one glitch getting to the wedding. My mom misread the time and we missed the actual ceremony! LOL But we made it to the reception.

One more thing. For my 17th birthday and my friend’s 16th  birthday, my parents splurged and surprised both of us with tickets to the Broadway show Wicked! I was starstruck because this was the one show I have wanted to see for 8 years!!
