Hockey and a Basketball

Hockey and a Basketball

Today I went to an Arizona- ASU hockey game. This game attracted a lot of people as the two schools are the states rivals. There were about two times as many people at the hockey game as usual. The games usually don’t attract many people because 1. The arena is pretty far off campus and 2. Our hockey team isn’t very good. The game went to overtime and we ended up losing in a shootout. I told my friend who was sitting next to me that this is why I go to basketball games because it sells out a 14,545 seat arena every game and we win basically every home game. Talking about basketball, when I got back on campus I was ecstatic to get back to my dorm. The reason is because an Arizona signed basketball arrived today and was waiting for me at the front desk. The ball is signed by the entire current roster of the team including Deandre Ayton who is expected to be the #1 overall draft pick in this years NBA draft. Next week I am getting it signed by Arizona head coach Sean Miller. If Arizona goes far in the NCAA tournament, makes the Final Four, or hopefully wins the National Championship this ball will be put in a display case and never touched.
