Just started classes and I’m back in college after a fun break! It’s been a busy week. This semester will be science-heavy courses as I strive to learn more about the human body and the world around us. I have two very contrasting classes this semester. Global health will require me to look at the big picture, but Microbiology will require me to look at the tiny details of pathogens all around us!

Last week, I got to be on the local Austin news! TeVido Biodevices is working with local dermatologists to increase access to treatments for vitiligo patients. It felt great to share my experience with vitiligo and to show that my journey has made me more confident.
