During College I heard one of the teachers say there is going to be a student observed in 2 classes to see if she wants to come next year.  The student observed was in my gym class. Then I realized she was deaf. So I decided to introduce myself through Sign Language. I’m pretty sure I made her day and her name Jessie. Jessie’s interpreter said I sign pretty well.  The interpreter was shocked that I have been learning for almost 3 years. I’m glad I was able to use Sign Language with her. Now Jessie has some friends before she starts next semester.
