Learning Coping Techniques to Calm Anxiety Myself

This is a special trick I do when I get overwhelmed or can’t control my body with my emotions. I take slow calm breaths throughout my body and think about how it’s feeling to slow my feelings down and breathe them out. I think “breathing in, breathing out” as I’m breathing.  I forget to do this, but it really really helps when I do remember.
