Sometimes you have these types of moments when you live with a disability: Yesterday I was at a restaurant where the menu was listed on the wall and I asked my father what the options were for shakes.  Of course he started reading me the list and about half way through the cashier said “you know there is a list of shakes over there”.  This woman had no idea why I would ask someone to read the menu to me.
