I had a very empowering visit with two classes at sacred heart girls college yesterday.  They are currently in a class called friends. This is about positive relationships and resilience. Both classes listened to what I had to say and then came up with some very thought provoking questions. I could feel that a lot of the questions were relating back to their own experiences and so I was so glad to be there to answer them. They then did something amazing called the birthday booster. When it’s someone’s birthday, they sit around in a circle and everyone says something positive and meaningful to the person on the chair. I witnessed the joy on the face of the child in the first group. It was so emotional, the smile was massive and you could see the radiance on her face. I of course asked to have a turn at the end of the second class and boy do I wish it could have been filmed. The words coming out of their mouths after listening to my talk was making me fast track the blinking back of tears! Remember I’m always open for motivational speaking. I don’t charge for the love that I spread to the students.
