Tucson located in the middle of the Arizona desert, meaning there isn’t a lot of much regarding water or greenery. I thought this was true until I discovered probably one of the most interesting buildings I have seen and been inside. On the campus of Arizona, there is this building where you go through a set of doors, and you’re back outside. You enter into this type of canyon where you look up and see vegetation growing off the side of the building. You also have a large amount of water throughout the building as it collects it from the rainfall (when we have it). One of the coolest experiences I have had in this building was last May. While studying for finals, I came here as it was over 90 degrees outside. When I got to a table to start working it was much colder than outside, and there was a miniature waterfall next to me as water was circulating through the building. It was no longer in the 90’s but instead had cooled down making everything an environment I thought I would never find in Tucson. Because of this, I love coming here to study as it is a calming and relaxing place to work on whatever I need to get done. I added a picture of the building’s canyon and Audrey (my sister) taking in the sights when she was here in May helping me study for finals.
