My typical day starts with Dad waking me up. I get dressed, eat breakfast and go to school. At school I learn stuff, talk to my friends and help with Rocky, the 6th grade bearded dragon. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Mom picks me up and we run home to change clothes for cheer practice. Sometimes I can do my homework at home, but sometimes I have to do it in the car.
On Tuesdays I practice from 5:30-7:30 and on Thursdays I practice from 5:00-9:30. It is hard and my muscles hurt, but I love tumbling and performing with my team. Sometimes my coaches forget I can’t see their hand motions from far away, but my stunt group helps tell me what she wants me to do. When I get home I either finish homework or go to bed. When I am really sore, I soak in epsom salts first. It can be hard and sometimes I want to quit, but I don’t.
