My History Women’s trip

My History Women’s trip

I had a great summer.  My mom and I have taken the most amazing trip. We called it our “Powerful Women Visiting Powerful Women’s Trip.” We first visited the house of Susan b Anthony, in Adams MA. It was cool.  We then visited Seneca Falls where the first Women’s Convention was held.  We went to the Women’s Rights National Historical Park and the Women’s Hall of Fame.  I loved them both.  I learned a lot at the National Park like why this happened in Seneca Falls, how Frederick Douglas came to it, how the local native american tribes influenced the women’s movement there.

At the Women’s hall of Fame I learned about lots of cool women like Helen Keller, Alice Paul, Sojourner Truth, and Hillary Clinton.  Here are some photos of me.

I could not ask for more perfect trip than this. It will definitely help me with my one-women show.

This looks so cool! I went to the Women’s museum in Washington, DC, last month and I felt really empowered seeing everything that women did to get the right to vote!
