My Thoughts on the ReelAbilities film, Ezra and the overall ReelAbilities film festival

My thoughts on the ReelAbilities film, Ezra are that the cast is very very diverse and it is very interesting, learning about individuals with autism (or other disabilities) and the positive vibes to this film. The director of this film, Tony Goldwyn was super nice at the Q & A of Ezra and the writer of this film, Tony Spiridakis has a son with autism named Dmitri and he spoke about his relationship with his son. The cast of Ezra includes Bobby Cannavale, Rose Byrne, Vera Farmiga, Whoopi Goldberg (she won a Lifetime achievement award), Jimmy Kimmel, Rainn Wilson, William A. Fitzgerald (as the main character, Ezra), Robert De Niro and many others. The film Ezra will be in theaters on Friday May 31st, 2024 and just as a heads up I saw an early screening of this film on Wednesday April 3rd, 2024 at the Times Center in NYC. I saw my friends Oscar S, Faye (Samantha’s mother), Xian, Rayna and many others. Tonight I will be going to two events with ReelAbilities at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan called Inclusive Beauty, Fashion and Design (IBFD) at 5:00 PM and the Closing night event (the movie I’m going to be seeing is called Good Bad Things) at 6:00 PM. I got free merchandise on the opening night of ReelAbilities and the things I got were an Estee Lauder night eye cream, a compact mirror from Pfizer, a Welcome to Opening Night card, a tote bag from ReelAbilities and an ice/heating pad from Pfizer. I think I might get another gift bag tonight at ReelAbilities but I’m unsure. I can’t wait for tonight’s events and I really want to watch the other ReelAbilities films when they come out in theaters or live streaming. Enjoy reading this!
