New Routines
By: Eli
After my competition cheerleading showcase My teams went back to the gym to work harder and practice for X Evolution. We learned a part of our routine, which is our dance. I had to fill in on another person on one of our teams for an “invisible” athlete. So in total I had to learn 3 dances. These dance routines were about 20-30 seconds in the whole routine. We normally would do dance after everything, but some teams do them in the middle of theirs. We practiced some more now that we have our whole routine. I was asked to fill in for a girl who had hurt her knee and my mom agreed for me and so I was on that team till X Evolution. We then had Thanksgiving! A cool tradition we do as a family with another close family is that we go to their house on Thanksgiving and on Christmas they come to our house for dinner! On Thanksgiving my mom made her homemade macaroni and cheese and it was so good. We also watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. We went to their house and had a lot of fun together. Then my mom, my friend’s mom, my friend, and I went Black Friday shopping! We brought so many gifts and just had fun. After Thanksgiving I go back to practice to get ready for X Evolution and WSF in Louisville, Kentucky. WSF is my first competition.
Sorry this is shorter than I would normally type, but I hope you enjoyed reading this and make sure you read the next blog about X Evolution and my first real competition with my teams!
