New Year, New me!

- Hey everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great new year so far! I fully realize that the title of the blog is SUPER cliche, but I feel like it is true. I am trying to leave the trials of 2018 in the past and move forward with full strength into the new year.
A few days ago, I took a giant leap of faith and booked a trip to New York City at the end of February. NYC is my dream city and it has always seemed so magical and alluring to me. Not to mention that it is like, the communications capital of the world. My dream life would definitely include living and working in NYC. I am so excited to go next month, as a solo traveller.
I am currently in California, escaping the Canadian winter, which actually isn’t half as bad as it usually is. I already feel like 2019 is different than last year. I have so many travel plans this year, a lot of new ventures for the Board of Directors of the Moebius Syndrome Foundation and new goals, visions and dreams. I also submitted an extra hard coding assignment for my computer science course, which is the last course that I need for my degree, and I ended up getting 90% on it, which I was definitely not expecting! I am slowly learning that you get out of life what you put into it, and i am dedicating myself to working harder than ever this year,Happy New Year!
