Notre Dame

Over the weekend, my dad and I traveled up to Boston to meet up with my uncle and his friend to go watch Notre Dame play at Fenway Park against Boston College. My dad and I left our house at 10:00 in the morning and arrived there around 1:00 in the afternoon. When we got there, we checked into our hotel, which was where my uncle was staying too. After we got unpacked, we all went to a restaurant to meet up my uncle’s friend before it was time to go to the football game at 6:30. We were watching some college football games on tv while we were just hanging out there. Once it was 6:30, we took a cab to the game and it started at 7:30. When we got there, it was packed with Notre Dame fans everywhere and I only saw a couple BC fans. We were sitting behind the end zone out in right field, but we were high up, almost under the video board. My Uncle and his friend were sitting right behind us because the seats next to us weren’t available. There were some fireworks during the national anthem, which was cool to see. It was a close game but Notre Dame didn’t look like their normal selves. Even the quarterback had a bad night because he had 4 turnovers. They should have beaten BC by a lot but BC kept on fighting back. My uncle and his friend left the game early during halftime because they were getting too cold, so it was just me and my dad. With 4 minutes left of the game, my dad and I left so it wouldn’t be hard getting a cab back to the hotel. Once we walked out to the streets, we couldn’t find any cabs, so we had to walk back to our hotel, which was 15 minutes away, but it wasn’t too bad. Finally when we got back, we headed to our room to go to bed because we were leaving at 8:00 in the morning to go back home. I had an awesome experience and hopefully I will have another chance to do this again.
