NYC Trip and more….
By: Alexandra
Hi, everyone! I’m sorry I haven’t written in a while. About a month ago my mom and I went to New York for her post-op appointments. She’s been taking a lot longer to recover than she normally does so we didn’t do much. We did get to see Anastasia again, but only because we won the lottery tickets. It was amazing, we got to see the Wednesday matinee, but my mom forgot to take acetaminophen before we left, so she was quite uncomfortable. Despite her pain she decided to stagedoor and met four of the incredible actors. They were all so sweet and humble and one of them was shocked that it was our second time and thanked us for coming again. The two young girls were incredibly sweet and despite the fact that she had already been in a National Tour, my art was one of the girls first piece of fanmail. My mom had appointments earlier that day and then the day after, but that was it. On Friday, the day before we left, I went to an audition and unlike the usual, I enjoyed everything, including the waiting. I became friends with this one girl, Jessica, and she was super nice. After the audition we went back to the hotel and the day after, we flew home. That day was also the day of Talia’s performance of The Lion King, so boy were we tired.
Since then nothing much has happened. I’ve discovered that I’m most likely lactose intolerant, we started dog sitting my grandmother’s dog, and yesterday I got to see A Wrinkle In Time. That’s really all and I don’t want to bore you with the details. I hope everyone’s doing well.
