Last Wednesday I went to see a new specialist for pain management. He is from the anesthesiology department. We met with him and his fellow. We spent most of the time with the fellow and he was amazing! He has both an MD and a Phd in Pharmacology. This is comforting because he will be very familiar with how different pain meds would affect my breathing. I’ve been scheduled for a suprascapular nerve block and trigger point injections this Friday (the 14th)… I’m also adjusting my meds and adding a magnesium supplement.  Here’s to hoping these things help reduce my pain!! The picture is of a fish in one of the waiting rooms- I nicknamed him Polka Dot lol. He was in a different waiting area from where my appt was but my mom and I went and visited him anyway. ??
