Last week I was approved for paratransit.  Paratransit is basically a van service for people with mobility issues.  So they basically come pick you up and drop you off to your desired location.  In Athens they call it “the lift”.  I just scheduled a van for Saturday so I can go to Publix (for those of you located outside the south this is a supermarket).  I’ll see how it goes in about two weeks!
