There are many things that I enjoy and appreciate about my time working at Positive Exposure. I enjoy doing my part alongside Ian to make sure the gallery is a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors. My weekly duties at the gallery include dusting and vacuuming the entire space in order to make sure everything is in tip-top shape for each exhibit. I also help with Positive Exposure’s presence on social media by posting on Instagram and blogging about the exciting events at the gallery.

I have really come to enjoy the people I work with including Liz, Rich, and Ian. Liz is very friendly, helpful, and patient with me as we strategize and complete important tasks. Rich greets me with positive, upbeat, and encouraging energy every time I walk in the room. He always makes me feel like a valued member of the team! Ian is a great mentor and partner-in-crime when it comes to gallery maintenance and making the space beautiful. All in all, working alongside everyone is really important to me as we all support a cause that we care about and believe in.

One of my favorite experiences at the gallery was having my own photo shoot to help with showcasing the many faces and personalities at the gallery. I felt fabulous during the shoot and the photos turned out beautifully! I loved the way my eyes glistened in each picture and I had a really good hair day. I really find the gallery a great organization to work for and I am very excited to continue helping Positive Exposure grow this coming fall!
