Seizure One Year Anniversary

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY…. I had a seizure for the first time.

4 days after my major surgery on January 31, 2023, I was with my parents in the basement, and I was getting really hot and agitated, and I was trying to take off my sweater.

I don’t remember anything else until the EMTs were helping me down my parents outside steps into an ambulance. I had no idea what had happened. My legs weren’t working right and my brain wasn’t either.

In that time that I still don’t remember, I seized, then I was talking to the EMTs, and I even went to the bathroom, all without remembering any of it! Thanks to my parents, I didn’t hit my head as I fell to the floor. I was in the hospital for 2 nights, and I turned out to be just fine, and the seizure was probably a result of a medication change that had not been communicated well.

Now I’m in my new apartment, I’m not in pain from the Endometriosis anymore, and I’m still so worn down. I think these events and illnesses triggered my chronic fatigue and Dysautonomia. So I often don’t feel great, and I’m so thankful I’m being provided for.

My cats are begging me to feed them, so more later!!
