I enjoy nature photography because I can use the camera to capture and to explore the world around me. These pictures are some that I have recently taken. The spiders in the pictures are wolf spiders. The plant that the spider is sitting on is Jewelweed. It has small bright orange flowers. I love how the trail curves around the corner. These round green fruits are a fruit that ripens to an orange color. It is called an American persimmon. This is a little blue-tailed skink that I rescued. This is a Tiger swallowtail caterpillar that I saw on the side of our house.
