Tips on dealing with darker mornings/evenings
  • Focus on yourself and trust your gut.
  • Hydrate: Drink water every day!
  • Try doing morning mediation.
  • Try to wake up early with special SAD lamps which mimics the sun rising.
  • Go to the gym or take a yoga class.
  • Eat healthy foods.
  • Regulate your routines.
  • Take a class. (I’m taking a writing class with EPIC Players, EPIC Plays with EPIC Players (we are doing Spongebob Squarepants: The Musical), ASL class at Bergen Community College and Sharing the Arts (we are doing Beauty and the Beast).
  • Start a morning routine every day.
  • Get enough sleep. It is very important.
  • Listen to the songs Late Night Talking by Harry Styles and Secret Oktober by Duran Duran (and other autumn songs).
