Grace lives with her mom, dad, brother JJ, and pets…two dogs Jackson & Roxie and fish Sky. Grace rides the bus to school which involves a highly interactive technological classroom where she gets to work on a laptop and iPad everyday. No stranger to technology, Grace is a video sign language demonstrator for the app series Sign Me A Story (http://signmeastory.com/index.htm)
It is because of this and her work for Positive Exposure that she was recently recognized as a noteworthy advocate for Down syndrome and will be a recipient of a RISE award. <http://ypierre.com/rise/2014/03/20/2014-recipient-grace-carter/> This event will be November 7th in Atlanta.
